Writer’s Tears Single Pot Still Whiskey is super smooth. It’s a little fruity on the nose and has a hint of vanilla sweetness. No burning on the way down. This whiskey shines all by itself but also works well in cocktails. I enjoyed it in an Irish Mule.

A fantastic Irish whiskey! The sip opens with notes of apple and dried fruits that transforms to a slightly savory finish on the palate. The whiskey itself is smooth and almost sweet making for a delicious bottle to have with a splash of water or on the rocks. It is however versatile enough to shine in cocktails too. Highly recommended!
