Amusical Emergency

My friend on Instagram posted a drink the other day that inspired me toward my absolut(e) least favorite spirit: Vodka. I used to go out to a local bar and get offended if I ordered a gimlet and the bartender asks me “Vodka or Gin?” “What it’s supposed to be, Gin, the best one you have.” And they’d throw some Bombay Sapphire in with off-brand lime cordial and shake it for 5 seconds… Yeah, I know, how pretentious I was.
