Royal Hawaiian (Two ways)

Submitted on: March 20, 2021
The Royal Hawaiian has been around since the 50's. Named after the Hawaiian resort that made it their signature cocktail. I certainly did not create this recipe. However, since one of the ingredients is orgeat syrup (made with almonds), I wanted to substitute my black sesame orgeat and pistachio orgeat with different gins to come up with unique combinations.

Editor's Note
Black sesame and ginger transform the classic Royal Hawaiian into a nutty, savory experience. The indigo gin adds a striking visual contrast to the tropical base.
