Sweet Smoke

An off-sounding list of ingredients came together and made a cocktail baby. Mezcal and pineapple are fantastic bedfellows and charring the pineapple adds another layer of smokey complexity. I didn’t think the vermouth and Suze would work here but surprisingly they do! It’s an oddly tropical leaning drink with a firm smokey, herbal presence. Let me know what y’all think! Cheers 🍸!

Hi there! I've been a bartender at the same restaurant for over 10 years. My favorite spirits to work with are rum (love a good tiki drink!), gin and amaros. I love to garden and I often use the herbs and produce I grow to make syrups and infusions. Cheers y'all! ...

Editor's Note
Mezcal and Suze find common ground in this tropical-leaning sour. Charred pineapple adds a smoky, caramelized depth that ties the herbal and spiced modifiers together.
